Acting after marriage

Acting after marriage

These days, marriage doesn''t mean an end to or even a shift of focus in one''s career. This is cent per cent true in Anu Prabhakar''s case.
"I started work a fortnight after my wedding," says the actress who got married in March this year. Sullu Saar Bari Sullu, Neen Illade Naan Illa Kane and Tavarige Ba Tangi are the movies she is working.

Her costars include Ramesh Arvind, Shivraj Kumar and others.
The industry has not changed its attitude towards her. "I have three films and that should speak for itself about how the industry is treating me. I have Arputham, the Tamil film with dance master Lawrence ready for release as well. There are offers coming my way. But I want to wait for these movies to be released and get the audience''s reaction," says Anu.
The actress says, "Word has spread that I am doing a good job. I have good offers and one of them is from K Balachander. I did not have dates to spare for this movie since I was busy with my three films then. They were even willing to adjust the dates. The last I heard was that they wanted to come and meet me in July."
So has marriage not made any difference to her career at all? "No way. My acting ability or my talent is not going to be affected by my marriage. Nothing has changed for me," adds Anu strongly.
